We know 3 guns were tested in 2017. This is one of them:

-One of Weber's guns, a Sig Sauer, was tested by state police lab and the result was inconclusive We're told tomorrow will be quite lengthy. Prosecutor McLeland said he intends to play 2+ hours of audio but didn't specify. Could be alleged confessions Allen made on the phone

Cue the next conspiracy theory...

By RA saying that the reason they crossed the creek is because he was spooked by someone pulling into the Weber's driveway in a while van is not a coincidence. It shows that he filled in the blanks, that he why was there and identified the van and the time it happened.

To NOT believe him, IMO, is blind faith that I can't grasp.

This point I hope gets more attention. How would RA know a white van pulled into the driveway unless he was there! At that time!

He put himself there in his interview with DD.
He put himself arriving as a group of witnesses were leaving.
He put himself on the first platform as seen by a witness jogging.
He put himself there when the white van pulled into the drive.

He knew the white van pulled into the driveway Because he was there.

I think it’s suspicious to destroy notes for a patient who is facing trial. The notes are the best evidence.

Nothing suspicious about transcribing handwritten notes into an organized and legible report.

Were these sessions videod? i don’t know but If they were, that’s far better evidence than any type of scribing. However if so, good chance the court wouldn’t allowed it to be viewed if RA was showing off his birthday suit. JMO

It would take BW about 25 mins to get home from his job at Subaru. I am checking out the map in the media thread can someone let me know which one is BW's home?

Case Map
Sorry I do not know which house is the one BW visited. I did want to jump off your post because you include the link to the Case Map.

In my opinion the statement that a White Van disrupted the SA on the bridge side and forcing a move to the side where the crime site was located is monumental. Even if discovery was around, there is nothing that would have created this scenario unless it was the person who committed the crime. This is specific, this attaches reaction to verifiable events. Events that would not have been part of the investigation until this confession was being corroborated. To try to visualize this I went to google maps and measured the distance from where the crime site was, on the Case Map, to the center of 625W. It is 307 feet. I then measured from the road back to the bridge side and determined it was likely between 100 and 200 feet so very close and very unnerving. There is no doubt in my mind that the Van was visible clearly and close enough that it forced a move to more obscured surroundings. Of course MOO.

Delphi Murders Trial Day 11 Afternoon Highlights:

We picked back up with Defense Attorney Brad Rozzi's cross examination of Dr. Monica Wala who was the psychologist at Westville Correctional Facility where Allen was held in solitary confinement for more than a year

-Rozzi asked Dr. Wala about the clothing Allen was forced to wear while on suicide watch which was similar to a Kimono and apparently referred to as a "flintstone gown"
-Dr. Wala testified that the area where she and Allen had their sessions was not a therapeutic setting

-It was revealed that Mr. Allen was institutionalized sometime in 2019
-Went through several of Dr. Wala's reports from the early days of Allen at Westville where he was being called a "baby killer" by other inmates
-Allen also said he was being treated as if he is already guilty

-In April 2023, Dr. Wala said he had a "grave disability" and that prompted the administering of a Haldol shot to him involuntarily
-He received several of those shots in 2023
-He was continuing to self harm in throughout the summer of 2023

-Rozzi asked at one point about Allen's height which was measured during the intake process
-Dr. Wala said he was 5' 5"
-Rozzi obviously pointing this out because witnesses describe Bridge Guy as being tall
-Dr. Wala testified that she believed Allen had a serious mental illness

-Rozzi ended his questions by pointing out that Dr. Wala was so interested in the Delphi case that she at one point visited the crime scene during a day off
-Then Steve Mullin, the prosecution's investigator, took the stand again

-He went looking at BMV records in response to a jury question about the car seen on the Hoosier Harvest surveillance video that resembled Allen's 2016 Ford Focus
-A juror asked Mullin last week if he knew how many other 2016 Ford Focus cars were in the county
-He said he didn’t

-He got records from BMV that show the only 2016 Black Ford Focus SE registered in Carroll County in 2017 was Richard Allen's
-There were 8 2016 Ford Focus vehicles of varying models registered in the county in that year

-During cross examination, Mullin admitted he couldn't tell the model of the car in the surveillance video and that the Ford Focus looks similar regardless of what model
-Defense attorney Jennifer Auger pointed out that killer could be from another county

-Last up was Brad Weber who owns the property near the Monon High Bridge
-A road to get to his home runs right under the bridge
-He testified that on the day of the murders he left work a little after 2 and went straight home which would put him there around 2:30

-Prosecution asked what he drove and he said a white van
-That's important because in his detailed prison confession, he said he was going to rape the girls but saw a van and got scared so he made them cross the creek

-During cross examination, defense attorney Andrew Baldwin said to Weber: "you didn't drive straight home did you?"
-Weber said he did
-Baldwin pointed to statement he gave to cops that he went and worked on some ATM machines
-Weber got angry and yelled "No" at Baldwin

-Baldwin then ended his questioning but not before serving Weber with a subpoena on the witness stand for him to come back and testify when the defense presents their case
-Weber then stepped down
-During his opening statement, Baldwin said Weber was a possible suspect

-One of Weber's guns, a Sig Sauer, was tested by state police lab and the result was inconclusive
We're told tomorrow will be quite lengthy. Prosecutor McLeland said he intends to play 2+ hours of audio but didn't specify. Could be alleged confessions Allen made on the phone

As always, you can read everything that's happened so far on our website:

The van going past and RA getting scared and aborting his rape plans seals his fate.

Only the killer would know that as I never heard that reported.

Moo
The sad thing is he still appears to have Libby naked within minutes of seeing the van. He just aborted his original crime scene for a less public one. Her phone, which she put under her shoe, stops movement at 2:32 pm. It would make sense that is when she undressed because Abby is found dressed her in her clothes with the shoe and phone under her. I think she got redressed from that pile of clothes and immediately RA ceased her movement, never realizing what was under the one shoe.

For seven years, this was a tragic mystery. And now that we know all of this, it really is very simple and straightforward. A garden variety child predator who murders his victims so they can't ID him. No less tragic. The thought of the blood, mixed with tears, with always be with me.

I look forward to hearing what else comes out during the recorded calls with his mother and wife. I think that will seal the deal BARD.

moo

Perhaps I am missing something here. Rossi said Wala destroyed the notes and she shouldn't have. What law or regulation or standard did he reference that proves that? If she put them together in a Word Doc, there is a record. Is your point that she because she didn't save handwritten copies, she did something wrong somehow?
imo she is incredibly unprofessional. Moo.

Thank you so much for all of your detailed updates and your valuable time in doing so, today and always! :)

Whoever did it, would know certain details no one else would know except maybe the families or the girl's friends, like: birth marks, moles, scars or even stretch marks.

Also, in-depth details not a generic walk through.

I'm still waiting for that groundbreaking confession I'm afraid.

JMO MOO JMT

If he saw the white van pull into the driveway would you then believe he was there?

WOW! The info about the Ford Focus came because of a juror question!

This jury seems great.

imo she is incredibly unprofessional. Moo.
I think it's commendable that a person who is tasked with mental health therapy for people who are charged with crimes takes an interest in their field and does plenty of background reading and research into crimes and criminals. I think it's completely normal to type up handwritten notes into a Word Doc and standard office procedure. We will have to agree to heartily disagree.

This. ^

If RA needed help remembering what time he was at MHB -- was it 12-1:30 or 1:30-3:30? -- RA confirms for himself he was in fact at MHB at 2:30pm. And where was he? DTH from the bridge. Dressed just like BG.

That seals the timeline.

The psychologist admits she was following the case through podcasts and social media before her involvement, that alone she should have disqualified herself, she did not. She is being investigated for trying to and maybe? (Still reading what happened today) accessing documents she was not allowed and or supposed to access. She was also while talking with RA actively listening to podcasts and reading social media on the case. She also might have been sharing sensitive information about RA online.

I mean, come on, where do we draw the line of inappropriate behaviour here and she’s allowed to testify to him confessing, all my opinions only
I think that the psychologist's unethical actions may taint all of the confessions. She was in his head, influencing him, pretending to be a friend - not much of a leap to believe that she was manipulating him for her own entertainment; or to confirm her suspicions.

I understand but I will just have to respectfully agree to disagree with you, it should have been a paid employee doing this work not a volunteer regardless of past work history, important work shouldn't be done by non-active workers, and, someone deserves to be paid for that work
BBM-
Well, that is just insulting, IMO

I have been a volunteer for Emergency Crisis Centers,
I have volunteered for our televised remote for the MDA telethon held every Labor Day weekend.

My family, friends and community have all pitched in with the telethon. NO sleep most of the weekend, plus setting up and tearing down everything.

NONE of us were paid, but it was IMPORTANT work for us and for others.

Pretty sure she qualified as a "volunteer" due to her credentials as a DCS employee.

However, she can't make him speak all that? eta *truth*

AND....the jury can disregard her testimony if they don't approve of her credentials or behavior or whatever else people are finding fault with. The jury doesn't have to believe what people say on the stand, and this jury in particular seems to be careful listeners.

I personally think her testimony was strong and suspect the jury will too.
