Kudos to GH for this from the transcript. From the video it was clear to me that they intended to go down the hill. I think he's really stretching for a KAK/RA connection but, whatever. With that said, his theory is almost as old as this case. MOO
[snip]
I think it's actually a
0:28
very strong possibility that Abby and
0:30
Libby were actually sent across that
0:35
bridge prior to getting there and they
0:38
knew that they were supposed to go down
0:40
the hill on the other side maybe meet
0:42
somebody under the bridge on the far
0:45
side

Why stop mid-thought? Keep going to finish the entire theory he was proposing & paints a more complete picture.

Or...

Libby didn't know what to do. So tried to have an out loud, neutral conversation with Abby.

Gift of Fear. They were afraid of RA, but even when you're afraid, you're hoping you're WRONG. You HOPE your body is reading the situation wrong, hoping the threat will walk on by and leave you the hell alone.

Maybe she was right. If Abby was too far from her, or BW drove in just at that moment, or BB circled back, coming across, or Libby's dad, come for her early, or RA lost his liquid courage, or saying hi diffused the situation, or RA wasn't a budding child SAer, maybe Libby would just have had a creepy story to tell, and a video to back it up.

They didn't yet know he had a gun. Or a boxcutter.

You can be scared to death without thinking you're going to be bleeding out within 20 minutes.

Honestly, I think Libby and Abby were trying to survive the intersection of RA. No one could have imagined what followed.

Unimaginable evil. In broad day light.

Speaking of unimaginable evil in broad daylight...

Abby was redressed.

What was his rationale there?

1. He had second thoughts, was going to let them go. Get dressed and bolt --

2. He used the (empty) promise he'd let them go to manipulate and control them.

3. He didn't want to leave naked victims.

Clothing fell into the creek, so there weren't two outfits remaining. Two girls, only one pair of pants.

1-3 above, was he going to let Abby go? Was he telling her he'd let her go? Was he telling her that but knew she be dead in a second anyway?

Did Libby offer her pants to Abby, thinking Abby would have their only chance to get help? Give her her pants as a way to transfer the phone?

RA is a perverse and nasty man and he thwarted their survival instincts and forever erased what efforts they employed. Only he knows if the screamed, begged, pleaded, reasoned...

Abby was dressed.

I think Libby may have come close to convincing RA to let Abby go.

And Libby made sure Abby had the phone -- their best chance at both surviving.

Smart girls.

But evil beats smart.

Evil, evil monster. He watched Abby dress and murdered her anyway.

We may never know.

Those poor girls. 2:07 brave and on the bridge, one big adventure, with long full lives ahead of them. 2:37, dead at the hands of Richard Allen, who stole their precious lives because he's a sick, twisted little man.

Ricky has been in prison a while. Same type prison as before, likely segregated for his own safety. Not hearing about the awful prison conditions nor any of the carnival barkers of Frank's fanmotionfic championing for better conditions for inmates...

Remember how we were told how inhumanely he was treated, meals slid in, no utensils? Then we learned what Rick did with his sporks. Forget how Rick was(n't) treated, how about what those who were charged with guarding him had to see? They don't get paid enough.

I bet he misses his tablet, I bet he's grateful to be separated, and beyond that, I don't care what he thinks.

Do not give that man a fork.

I don't remember the re-dressing being a part of his confession. He said he stayed to make sure they were dead and threw some sticks on them. I've always thought there would be something about the murder scene itself no one knew except for the killer. The van was a disappointment. MOO

If he would have mentioned this one, that's something only he would have known:

X: approximately 5 photos of the ground covered in dry leaves, twigs, etc. with a
“disturbance” as though someone grabbed a rake and cleared all the leaves out of that spot

He is a chaos man.
MOO He ruined lives, knew it, tried some measure of drippy redress.
Probably drank a beer or malt liquor, heard DG and left.

Yes to all that except he didn't redress... he let/forced Abby redress, notably not Libby, giving her the impression he might let her (Abby) go.... then slaughtered her anyway.

He brought chaos with him.

The unchecked entitlement of murderers is astounding. Not too smart, naive about where their thinking is taking them until its too late and they they have changed themselves into monsters.

I agree he might have let Abby redress in some cruel game of "I'm going to let you go" or he simply redressed her in Libbys oversized clothing easily enough as she was a little thing.

With Libby and her physical stature there was no way that murdering little sick troll could have redressed her. She was as big as him and he'd done all of the physical exertion, and the adrenaline dump would have started setting in I believe. It was probably all he could do to drag Libby closer to Abby.

How sick is it that he claims he stayed long enough to make sure they were dead so they didn't suffer?? WTH??? They suffered the minute you pointed that gun at them and ordered them DTH.

GRRRRRRR 🤬

I sincerely hope RA isn't having one moment of peace in prison as a convicted double child murderer, not now and not ever. He's right where he deserves to be and Abby and Libby should be here among the living doing the great things I know they would have. :(

Guards had to wear head protection because richard allen was spitting in their face, threatening the guards. And we all know where his hands were.

I hate that pathetic little pervert, the child killing little man.

Rbbm

They detail him him tramples me.

He didn't stay to make sure they didn't suffer.

We now know they died slowly. Abby, bleeding out over maybe 5 minutes. Libby, being chased, injured lethally, then dragged.

He stayed to watch them die. Sick, twisted...wicked.

It's sad if the only consolation these poor girls received was in slipped quickly into merciful unconsciousness.

To think of him standing over them -- or worse -- lying between them while they died slowly of injuries he inflicted, it's too gross to think about.

Mark of the beast.

There was...the sticks RA said he threw on them, to cover them up. But the D chose to put that out to the public, disguised as the now infamous and Odinist FM, while under a gag order to not discuss discovery.

The van was anything but disappointing. RA again confessed he was interrupted in SA-ing two children because of that van. He verified what a witness testified to, without taking the stand.

He also put himself on the bridge, in front of a witness, moments before Abby and Libby got there and started crossing. He put himself there on that bridge, at that time...to the surprise and dismay of his wife whom he told he'd never went on the bridge that day. KA's reaction to his lies to her spoke volumes.

RA's monumental and freely given confessions cooked his goose, rightly so.

No problem. Glad to support a RA did it theory, since he placed himself out there & admitted he was the person who did it. Too bad the defense had to tap dance around other actors since their chosen Odinist SODDI theory was so far off base or maybe they would have been able to speak to KK or others on the stand, for all the good it might have done.

KAK and RL were included in the list of Nick's unmentionables, which the judge ordered. I'm not sure how the D could have spoken to them on the stand.

I think there are a lot of "too bads" in this case.

Right, that’s what I was getting at. Had the D not gone the Odinist route, I doubt that NM would have been able to achieve what he did with that particular motion disallowing the unmentionables, but that’s of little consequence now.

The one juror seemed to have educated herself concerning the case & didn’t seem too awestruck by the foiled SODDI info she came across, so it probably wouldn’t have made much difference in the end as the D never could get him off that bridge.

I think the connection between RA and KAK simply wasnt digital.
And anything remotely collaterally connective was eliminated by KAK by wiping of the iPhone 6 that the police missed in the KAK search warrant. A iPhone which he later surrendered to them, factory restored and useless.
