Speaking of unimaginable evil in broad daylight...
Abby was redressed.
What was his rationale there?
1. He had second thoughts, was going to let them go. Get dressed and bolt --
2. He used the (empty) promise he'd let them go to manipulate and control them.
3. He didn't want to leave naked victims.
Clothing fell into the creek, so there weren't two outfits remaining. Two girls, only one pair of pants.
1-3 above, was he going to let Abby go? Was he telling her he'd let her go? Was he telling her that but knew she be dead in a second anyway?
Did Libby offer her pants to Abby, thinking Abby would have their only chance to get help? Give her her pants as a way to transfer the phone?
RA is a perverse and nasty man and he thwarted their survival instincts and forever erased what efforts they employed. Only he knows if the screamed, begged, pleaded, reasoned...
Abby was dressed.
I think Libby may have come close to convincing RA to let Abby go.
And Libby made sure Abby had the phone -- their best chance at both surviving.
Smart girls.
But evil beats smart.
Evil, evil monster. He watched Abby dress and murdered her anyway.
We may never know.
Those poor girls. 2:07 brave and on the bridge, one big adventure, with long full lives ahead of them. 2:37, dead at the hands of Richard Allen, who stole their precious lives because he's a sick, twisted little man.
Ricky has been in prison a while. Same type prison as before, likely segregated for his own safety. Not hearing about the awful prison conditions nor any of the carnival barkers of Frank's fanmotionfic championing for better conditions for inmates...
Remember how we were told how inhumanely he was treated, meals slid in, no utensils? Then we learned what Rick did with his sporks. Forget how Rick was(n't) treated, how about what those who were charged with guarding him had to see? They don't get paid enough.
I bet he misses his tablet, I bet he's grateful to be separated, and beyond that, I don't care what he thinks.
Do not give that man a fork.
